Day Thirteen | Switch

19 Sep

Today’s prompt for My 30 Days is:

someone you would want to switch lives with
for one day + why.

While the tendency would be to choose a celebrity with whom I would like to switch, I couldn’t really think of anyone’s life that I covet at this moment. So, my answer? I’d love to be a child again for one day. There are many reasons for this answer, and the biggest is simplicity of life. Almost everything would be new, life would still be filled with moments of discovery, and there’d be countless “first-times” to look forward to in the future. There’d be the comfort of being taken care and the feeling of infinite safety and protection from bad or scary things. No big worries. And best of all? Play-time is all the time.

Good grief, Steph, are you sick of my en-masse comments yet? I will try and keep up to date from here on out!

I like you response to this prompt, because you’re right, it’s easier to choose someone/celebrity from this current time. Rather you’ve chosen to reflect back to a time when your view on the world is unhindered and full of genuine appreciation.

I will never get sick of comments from you or anybody else. Thanks for the huge flood of comments, Elisse. It made my Monday morning much more bearable.
